Between: 9 am – 12.30 pm & 1.30 pm – 4 pm Where there are serious abnormalities you can expect to be notified of your results but we would ask that you contact the surgery one week after a test is carried out to find out the result. Cervical Smear test results can take up to 8 weeks. You will be notified by letter as to the result of your smear and you will be sent a reminder when your next one is due. This will normally be in 3 years for 25 to 49 year olds and 5 years for 50 – 64 year olds. It is important therefore that you notify us of any changes in your address.
